Etna Tour

Tour Etna 1: Etna is the highest active volcano in Europe and one of the most important naturalistic attractions of Catania. The tour starts with a visit to the Rossi mountains on Nicolosi and continues with a visit to the spectacular basalt caves. From there we visit the AA and pahoehoe lava flows and the Silvestri craters located at an altitude of 2000 meters. The tour ends with a visit to the craters of the 2002 eruption and with lunch at Zafferana Etnea.

Tour Etna 2: the visit to Etna begins with a climb back up the mountain to Zafferana Etnea where one can admire the historic center of the city and its majestic Belvedere on the Ionio. From here we continue reaching the dried lava flow of 1792 and the volcano cave.

A break to taste typical local products and an area dedicated to the production of the famous Etnean honey will give us the opportunity to relax and admire the natural scenery of the area. The tour ends with a visit to the Silvestri craters at an altitude of 2000 meters and an on-site lunch.
